| The Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring customer demand is met promptly and cost-effectively. This involves developing and maintaining production and inventory plans that consider customer needs, lead times, production and logistics capacity, raw material requirements, and inventory levels.
Key responsibilities include determining stock replenishment strategies and managing inventory targets for the product line. The planner ensures effective translation of demand inputs, such as forecasts and sales orders, into actionable plans for the product lines within the Americas region. The role demands maintaining high supply chain efficiency through accurate and optimal replenishment parameters and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure product availability aligns with the sales plan while minimizing operational costs. As a Supply Planner, you will collaborate closely with departments such as demand planning, production, and logistics to ensure the supply chain operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be part of a global organization where cooperation, interaction, and knowledge-sharing are essential. |

| Duties and Responsibilities |
You support an effective execution of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by facilitating the Supply Planning and Supply Review processes. You propose alternative scenarios in case of constraints and escalate issues. You track inventories and ensure the quantity is sufficient to meet the plan.
You maintain a strong relationship with the production facilities to ensure conformance to the production schedule and effectively manage any exceptions with demand forecasts. You work with the Integrated Supply Chain organization to ensure key assumptions on anticipated capabilities are reflected within the forecasts. You work collaboratively with Demand Planning to ensure effective demand and supply balancing within the short- and medium-term horizon. Moreover, you support collaboration with customer service, logistics and 3rd party service providers to meet business obligations in the case of planned and unplanned events.
You follow best practices and company procedures to maintain and coordinate maintenance of planning parameters relevant for the supply and inventory planning process like stocking policies, safety stock settings and lead times. You review and ensure product introductions and discontinuations are correctly reflected in SAP.
You drive continuous improvement by periodically reviewing and providing recommendations to enhance the supply network. You review supply chain KPIs like On Time, In Full (OTIF) and drive actions to improve. You support global and local Supply Chain projects and initiatives. |
